”We all got pieces of crazy in us, some bigger pieces than other”

Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is malt, peachy tropical citrus hop. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter, light sweet with a fresh, crisp, tart dry citrus fruit, woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle from Pezinska pivna pumpa. It starts with the aroma which is promising rather dry experience. And yes it will arrive. It is not as citrusly fresh as other IPAs. This is more like a main dish. I can imagine having maybe two a night and then rather switch to something easier. Good anyway.

Can. Hazy yellow, a few bubbles, frothy head. Light, sweet lemon aroma. Taste is dry, hoppy citrus up front. Tropical fruit that goes from dry to a bit more mellow and sweet, though it’s still quite dry and bitter in the aftertaste.

Bottle. Pours light hazy honey with huge white foamy head. Aroma is grapefruit, malt, iron, earl grey tea, rye bread and hints of sweet licorice. Taste is light sweet, medium to very bitter and faint acidic. Body is light oily with sparkling carbonation. Finish is long and very bitter with notes that follow the nose plus white sugar, lemon and hints of milk.

From tap, at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours loaded gold, with limited white head. Aroma is strongly citrus, grapefruit in particular. Some resinous as well. Body is medium-light. Taste is definitely bitter, with limited malt support. Finish is dry enough, although some residual bitterness is left in the mouth for quite some time.

0.33 l bottle at Svijet piva (World of Beers), Zagreb. Murky yellow, lasting off-white head. Citrus, orange, herbs maybe, light smoke, malts. Bitter kick, heavily hopped- Medium carbonation, warming from alcohol and bitterness, bitter finish. Well done, for the fans of strong, bitter beers!
