24/5/2026. Can at the ITFC beer share. Courtesy of Eric, cheers! Region #887. Mexico region 11/32. Citrusy, grassy, grapefruit, lime, slightly veggie. Medium sweetness, light tartness. Not bad.

12oz can from Total Wines & More, Laguna Hills. Drank at my daughters on 17th January 2023. Blonde, golden body, bright and clear; white topping. Not a great deal going on really, just an uninteresting blend of not much. Helps me stay in the top 50 raters of Mexican beers though!

Can from Craft and Carry UWS: pours gold with white head. Typical pff and cheap blonde aroma. Stupid cheap sweet blinde ale taste. Now good.

Golden coloured body with a thin, pure white head, only a centimetre tall, with a ton of small bubbles all rising from the bottom. Aroma of hay, grass and light herbs, with a dose of very light and mild wheat towards the end with some bread and yeastie notes as well. Light-bodied; Sharp funky malts dominate the flavour with some light wheat and more stale, biscuity-type malts showing through and a dash of fresh-cut grass and some stale or artificial sugars at the end. Aftertaste shows some softer and dry grassy notes with a dash of hay and flowers and not much else, aside from some light sugars, a hint of stale malt and funky yeast flavours. No real complexity here and just an easy-drinking, slightly off-putting flavour from the staler and funky ingredients here. Overall, not such a great beer and one that paired well enough with my [fast-foodish] tacos from Rubio's, but not worth buying or scouting out of course. I picked this one up, because I'd never seen it before and it was from Tijuana, and even though it's next door to San Diego, a few thousand miles away from my home. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle at Rubio's in San Diego, California on 30-December-2019 for US$4,50 while eating tacos about 20 miles from Mexico, but more than 2,000 from the East Coast.
