This Ale took inspiration from the English brown ale style and has a fruity character. It has a complex taste with toasted notes. The dark brown color reminiscent of mahogany. In describing the scent, one must turn to the world of wines where it resembles to the Sauvignon Blanc grape.

Fles gedeeld door Benzai, geprobeerd met LiekevdV en Keukeman. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een medium schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige en karamel achtige geur. De smaak is moutig, zacht zoet en toffee achtig.

Tap at Frederick VI, Copenhagen with Mads, 25th October 22. Pours brown. Aroma is malty and caramel. Taste is malty, some caramel, bitter. It’s alright

Lidl store, Copenhagen. Can. Dark brown, medium beige head, not really lasting. Medium biscuity nose, quite nutty. Medium sweet, some chocolate, a bit of biscuits, a bit nutty. Mild bittery touch. Mild afetrtaste. Light. Actually a nice one.

On keg at Copenhagen Airport. Appearance - deep brown with red chinks. Nose - brown bread, Soreen malt loaf, in fact. Taste - more malt loaf, plus chocolate and light hazelnut. Palate - close to medium bodied, creamy middle and roasty bitterness on the final. Overall - decent.

Bottle split fourways. Pours clear dark brown with a medium offwhite head. Aromas of malts, nuts, caramel, dark fruits, plums, dates. Taste is malty sweet, nutty, caramel, dark fruits, burnt sugar.
