Cask @ The Seven Stars, Manchester during the Wetherspoon Spring Beer Festival 2015. Clear golden with a creamy head. Its texture has a small smoothness about it, and there’s light citrus fruits that provide a citrus bitterness.

Hamilton Hall. Spoons. Cask. Clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and dry, mild fine carbonation. Light pale malts. Modest floral bitterness in the mid. Back end is light orange and tangerine, turning fairly bitter. Trace of lemon before a dry finish. Drinkable but strangely unsatisfying, can’t put my finger on why.

Cask at the Tilly Shilling (JDW), Farnborough. Pale amber with a dense cream head; orange fruit aroma; soft in the mouth with an orange marmalade taste, then a short burst of dry herbal hops; before a lingering fruit finish.
