Tap at the Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Poured a hazy light amber with a thin white head. The aroma is yeast, grassy hop, light floral. The flavour is moderate bitter with the light, watery, light mineral, light citrus hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle @ DØE "Øllets Dag"/Brdr. Schmidt, Viby centeret. Pours golden with an offwhite head. Aroma of malt, grass, citrus, lemonpeel, little grapefruit. Flavor is light bitter, malt, grass, fresh citrus, lemon, little grapefruit. Thin to medium body, average carbonation, dry and light bitter finish. 030916

Bottle at a tasting. Excellent beer. Malt in the background, fermented clean as well. Hops focused, as an IPA should be. Lots of hops aromatics and flavour, juicy citrusy zesty hoppy goodness. Well attenuated to a thin watery first impression. But after all it is a great IPA.

Bottle from 100 piv. Orange golden color with medium white head. Aroma of distinct citrus hops its grapefruits, zest, pines. Taste, solid malty base followed by strong citrus hops with oranges, tangerines, zest, pines. Long hoppy bitter finish. Very good.

Bottle from GBBF 2016 and drunk at home. Clear to hazy deep amber colour lasting white head. Fresh hoppy aroma as i poured it . Almost turkish delight on the aroma so rose aroma. It is lovely to have a fresh Rogue beer instead of ones that are dead that we tend to get in the UK. Soft sherbet hop aroma. The malts are just about enough to hold the hops. Some bitterness on the finish. some orange satsuma flavour. A little metallic. I mean its a fine hoppy golden best bitter. It’s that blurring of style lines. This could be a hoppy golden bitter. Neutral yeast. Ok. Just a little empty in the malt.

Bottle at Chris and Ruth’s pre-GBBF shindig, 2016 (Sunday sesh.). Amber pour with a wispy white head. Tangerine, apricot... lots of sweet fruit in the aroma. Sweet fruit flavour. Good.

Pre-gbbf-shinding. Klare dunkel goldene Farbe, geringe weiße schaumkrone. Geruch sehr hopfig, Aprikosen, Pfirsich, leicht harzig. Geschmack sehr hopfig bitter, floral hopfig, Aprikosen, nett.
