Tried at the royal hop pole jdw, Tewkesbury. Deep gold with a thin head, aroma is malty, taste is a bit dull and a touch sweet, body watery.

Crosse Keys. Spoons. Cask. Clear amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry with mild fine carbonation. Fairly neutral malts. Light orange peel and a trace of lemon. Little spice and mild juicy orange. Trace of spicy ester before a light dry finish. A grower.

Cask@Wibbas Down Inn (JDW), Wimbledon, London - amber pour with white head. Light fruity and malty aroma and taste, caramel, toffee, some floral nuance, pretty watery. Ok.

Cask at the foot of the walk. Pours clear amber, nose is toffee, floral, taste is dry, crisp, floral, sweet toffee.

Cask at the Tilly Shilling (JDW), Farnborough. Pale amber with a ring of white head; fruity aroma; straightforward fruity taste with a gentle bitterness and a sweet biscuit finish.

Cask at the standing order. Pours clear amber, thin white head. Aromas of toffee, light herbs. Taste is more toffee, biscuit, light herbal bitterness. Sweet, but clean finish.

Cask. Amber and quite clear, a white half finger head. Lots of fruit in the aroma, hoppy undertones. Taste- hop bitterness, juicy fruit, bitter clingy finish. Quite nice.

Cask at the moon under water Watford jdw. Golden coloured pour with a lasting speckled head. Aroma is base grains and light spicy hop, biscuit malts. Flavour is golden grains, base malt with a little earthy straw, berry hop with some tart hedgerow berry fruit. Palate is creamy, moderate carbonation and decent condition. Ok.

Cask handpull Westgate jdw Canterbury. Clear golden amber colour lasting white head. Ok pale bitter some Robbies yeast a touch of sourrness. Simple golden bitter. Some hop on the finish. Ok. Decent condition.
