(Bottle) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with dark milky chocolate, hazelnuts, nougat, liquorice, ashes, orange peel and dark bread. Malty, roasted taste with notes of dark chocolate, cacao, liquorice, roasted hazelnuts, black rye bread, orange peel, prunes and a balanced cacao bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. A bit sweet and spritzy, but tasty and well made. Nice one.

Bottle. Nearly black, seems clear. Beige head. Roasted aroma, licorice. Flavour has licorice and chocolate, more roasted malt. Good, lasting bitterness. Well balanced with just a touch of alcohol heat in the finish.

Bottle at Fermentoren, Aarhus (realised I missed entering my rating for this during my June visit). Poured black with a small tan colour head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. Medium sweetness, mellow roasted bitterness. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Liked this!

Bottle, 8.5%. Fruity aroma, seems slightly bretty. Clear dark brown colour. Big stable creamy brown head. The flavour starts off quite bitter, then comes a fruity note and some raw liquorice. Finishes with a mild burn as from chili. Creamy mouthfeel.

Bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with stable tan head. Clear aroma of malt, with nites of roast and fruit and touches of chocolate. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of malt, caramel, coffee and chocolate and touches of barrel and hops. Roasty and malty afteraste with estery hints. Decent.
