Bottled, from Systembolaget. Dark brown, huge coarse head. Aroma of milk chocolate and ash. Sweet with medium-full body and clean, spritzy mouthfeel. Milk chocolate powder, plum brandy and ash. Perfumy and superficial, overcarbonated. More reminiscent of Chinese budget stouts than Baltic Porters.

Draught @ BrewDog Gbg. Pours black with a rather small mocha head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty, tiny estery and tiny spicy with roasted malts, sweetened coffee, dark chocolate, toasted wood, pear skins and orange zest. Taste is sweet, bitter and tiny sour with roasted malts, burnt caramel, burnt wood, unripe pears, lemon juice, hay, soil and hints of alcohol. Mouthfeel is round, tiny tart, slightly roasted astringent, tiny boozy and medium bodied. Finish is sweet, bitter and tiny sour with roasted malts, burnt caramel, moist soil, wood, pear skins, lemon zest and alcohol. Stupid peary eaters, go home, you’re drunk...
