A classic saison made with the classic Dupont yeast strain and fermented at very high temperatures - left to condition at 14-18 degrees in ex-wine barrels with brettanomyces bruxellensis added - left to bulk age in the barrel for a few months before being bottled

Draft. A hazy yellow beer with a notes of over ripe fruits - especially peaches, spices, and wet hay. The flavor is a bit sour with notes of brettanomyces, wheat, and wet hay, leading to a tart finish.

330ml bottle [Liverpool - West Brom live match Kloppo solidarity tasting, "chโmoooon Redthths!">. Cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with huge, fluffy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity, yeasty aroma delivers a plethora of yellow stone fruit flavours, apricot, peach, mirabelle, nectarine, mildly spicy yeasty hints of mustard seed and white pepper. Taste is minimally dry, fruity, notes of apricot, peach, nectarine, mirabelle, hints of white pepper, dry, grassy hoppy overtones; full body, lively, non-disturbing carbonation. Excellent, very clean exposition of yellow stone fruit flavours with well matching peppery spicy addendum - excellent!

330ml bottle from Stirchley Wines. Pours hazy gold with decent foamy white head. Very pleasant aroma, full of bright spice. Taste is spicy citrus, some soapiness, bitter pith, even a little white wine coming in at times.. Blurs the lines a little but still an enjoyable saison.

Keg at CBC Islington, during my 40th bash, 11/10/14. Lightly hazed golden with a decent white covering. Nose is straw, citric peel, bitter orange, lemon jus, light spice. Taste comprises lemon rind, spice, citric tang, bitter orange, farmyard, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Refreshing saison, a little 1D but ticks the style boxes and delivers.
