33 cl. bottle shared with Alex and Suus @ Alex and Suus. Black with a beige head. Interesting hoppy aroma with some roasted malts, coffee and chocolate. Semi-sweet taste with a bitter taste. Nice one.

33cl bottle from Beerwulf Webshop. F: medium, dark tanned brown, average retention C: black, opaque. A: dark malts, coffee, chocolate, cocoa, earthy. T: dark roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, dry earthy, bit ash, long lasting prominent bitterness, medium to full body, low carbonation, bit citrus, very dry and bitter, nice one, enjoyed.

Tap at Arendsnest, 31st July 18. Pours black, with a big tan head. Aroma is cocoa, citrus, grapefruit. Taste is hop forward, bitter, cocoa, dusty, grapefruit, citrus. Verging on BIPA. Lovely beer.

Bottle @ home. Black with a small to medium sized brown head. Smells roasty, earthy, some coffee and chocolate, sweet. Tastes sweet, roasty, earthy, licorice, umami, soy sauce, coffee, some chocolate, slight hint of iron/rust. Medium body, nice carbo, slightly thick.

Bottle. Black/brown with a small beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roasted malts and a little bit of tobacco and ashes. Some smoke and bacon. Taste is dark chocolate, roasted malts, a hint of coffee and lots of liquorice. Long lasting aftertaste. Medium carbonation. Balanced and delicious.

Bottle, from Secret Santa MonsterMagnet. Many thanks! Pours pitch black with frothy, slowly receding tan head. Roasty with liquorice, burnt caramel, ash. Pretty dry. Decent and quite drinkable.
