It is a drinkable porter, it could be better. The color is brown and black, there is a kind of sweetness and discreet roasted malt, 29.03.16.

Bottle. One of the best American Porters out there.Not overly sweet yet has a nice chocolate flavor. Loved this beer. Highly recommended.

very dark, almost black. very nice smokiness to it. some chocolate in the backgrount. very rich, and smooth, very nice porter.

Bottle from Beergium. Aroma is milk chocolate, roasted malt, mild coffee, caramel, cocoa, hazelnuts. Flavour is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium. Not as creamy as I’d like, that being said the cocoa chocolate aroma is very pleasant and this has an easy drinking smooth balance. Good Porter!

When did this one come back? On tap at Mills River 11/22/24. Dark russet brown, sorta cola pour; very lathery. Earthy, somewhat dusty malt nose. That is a good porter. Medium roast, barely cindered honey, lingering toast, classic earthy bite, acidy follow-through. Almost stout level body, extra frothy, forced co2 is concerned & not overdoing it. Just great.

Can. Sierra Nevada online shop. Clear deep brown. Thin but sticky leggy beige foam. Ashy chocolately fruity up front. Touch of coconut macaroon. Plenty of vine fruit. Taste is semi sweet with ashy roast bitterness. Slick overall. Light roast bitter finish.
