This beer has a gentle and pleasant aroma with a fine dark gold/amber colour and a good creamy head that clings down the glass. Taste wise, this has a malty, fruity sweetness and a long, rounded but refreshingly dry finish.

Hand pulled pint in the Mytton and Mermaid (near Shrewsbury) on 26th February 2025. Amber pour, clean and clear once it settled, white crown on top. Slightly more malty than hoppy, semi caramel traces mixed in with a mini citrus fruity bitterness. It's OK and goes well with Fish & Chips!

Half-pint, cask shared with Finn at Architect. Clear amber body, one-finger thick white head, clingy lacing. Modest peachy nose, rather sweet. Biscuit and hints of lemony hops to the taste character. Distant bittersweet end. Average Brit bitter. (Chester 26.01.2020).

Cask at White Hart, Chobham. Vague musty aroma. Light brown. Blotchy off-white head. Lightly spiced umami with a sour edge. Twigs and spices. Light-medium bodied. Slick but watery. Flat carbonation. Low key finish. A bit of an odd one. Trad twiggy bitter with sour spicey notes. But may have been passed its best.
