Cask at the Fox, Haggerston, during the MTB 29/01/15. Clear golden with a decent off white cap that retains well. Nose is dank hops, citric tinged straw, tangerine, lemon rind, melon, light grapefruit. Taste comprises pine, light skunk, mosaic well evident, melon, tangerine, grapefruit, straw. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, juicy hops, passionfruit and skunky mosaic in the close. Solid stuff.

The Fox. Tap takeover. Almost clear gold beer, small white head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, fine carbonation. Light pale malts, dry with modest sweetness. Good Mosaic prescense, a little skunk, tangy crystallised fruits.Underneath - passion fruit led tropical fruits, mild pineapple. Light semi dry finish. Bitterish linger. Nicely done, if a tad dry.

Cask at the Fox - London. Pours clear yellow with a foamy white head. Lovely juicy Southern Hemisphere hop aroma, some melon, citrus. Light sweet flavor with mild piney bitterness, lemon rind, flowers, dandelions, pee. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Nicely balanced on the finish with more juicy hops, piss, grass. Wonderful.

Cask, hand-pulled half-pint at the Craven Arms, Birmingham on 17th Sep 2014. Pleasant amber pour with a big off-white/beige head. Nose had a fruity hop feel, the taste showed off more hop traits with some tropical fruit like flavours and a bitter finish. Good rather than ’awesome’.

Cask at The Hanging Bat. Light haze to the golden pour. Aromas of tropical fruit, white grape, peach. Taste is more of the same. Bit thin on the finish. Not bad.

Cask at Rutland Arms, Sheffield. Lightly hazy, straw colour. Sticky, bubbly, lasting, white head. Lots of ripe peach. Tinned pear. Light lemon zest. Taste is more of the fruity sweetness to start, then a nicely restrained bitterness pops up, and lasts. Tasty gear.
