Bottle at home. Aroma of citrus, orange, tropical fruits, floral notes, malt, biscuit, some pine resin, a herbal note, hops. Flavour is light sweet with a long bitter finish. Body is medium. Fairly complex and tasty, with a herbal piney floral orange hoppy character. Good.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Hazy yellow to light orange color, medium sized off-white head. Aroma is slightly malty, a nice soft general fruity hint and sweet ripe citrusfruit. Tastes about the same: some malts, wheat, quite hoppy, lightly bitter. Decent body and soft carbonation.

33cl bottle from Maakun, thanks! Pours deep golden with a thick dense white head. Almost one year old, silly me for not drinking this earlier. Aroma is floral, spicy with some grapefruit notes. Fruity, crisp mouthfeel. Does not feel old at all. Hoppy, grapes, floral notes. Very dry finish. Quite short, bit high drinkability. Almost candy like fruityness at times. Very tasty Belgian IPA.

(Draught at Butcher’s Tears, Amsterdam, 28 Aug 2015) Dark golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, grapefruit and resin. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, biscuits, grapefruit, passion-fruit, resin and a generous citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Tasty and well balanced IPA, with a fresh hop character. Nice one.

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a clear medium amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is herbs, light spice hop, mineral, vegetables. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter with a spicy, woody, light toothpaste hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Tasted fine but the aroma was off putting..

Bottle, shared @ home, next to LCH II (which was older). Light amber color (a bit lighter than II). Big white head. Aroma’s: piney, sweet malts, fruit, herbal. Retronasal it’s resinous, caramel malts, herbal. Flavor is moderate bitter, moderate sweet. Light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter, herbal hops first, then earthy. This one won from LCH II, but of course it was fresher.

Bottle at home. Clear amber with big off white head. Harsh resin, chicory, dry herbs, nettles, grapefruit peel, rose water. Lots of bitter herbal and flowery notes with a nice light sweet caramel malt base. Quite complex, but has the quite harsh bitter notes of Green Cap. Medium bodied. Again quite interesting.
