On tap at Weird Beard brewery, Hanwell, London. A hazy golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, grapefruit, tropical fruit aroma. Tastes similar, hoppy, grapefruit, tropical fruit, slightly bitter and thin but pretty good.

Bottle at ma maison. It pours clear golden with a decent white head. The nose is soft and fruits.....mango, peach, grapefruit, tinned pineapple and a touch of piney resins. The taste is crisp, bitter, orange peel, grapefruit, mild sweetness, toasty grass, light pepper and dough, with a dry finish. Light-medium body and moderate carbonation. Crisp, bitter and refreshing. What more do you need in a session IPA???

Hazy gold beer, big fluffy white head. Palate is airy and crisp. Light pale malt, touch grainy. Pithy orange hops, thin and a tad bitter. Light dry finish. Lacks the usual clean feel and brightness but okay.

Bardzo bardzo dobre sesyjne ale. Piana gigantyczna zbita aromat pomaranczy i innych cytrusow. W smau dosc tresciwe, subtelne zarazem. Smaczne i po prostu pyszne. Swietne do salatki. Niesamowicie metne piwo. Calkowicie zabarwione na pomarancz. Polecam ten babowy chmielny aromat wszystkim

Bottle at home in London - picked up at Kris Wines. Pours clear, bright yellow-gold, moderately effervescent with a large, lasting white froth head. As soon as you open the bottle the hop aroma bursts forth, teeming with grapefruit, lemon and mild grass. Get the nose way in there and you can also pick up a bit of hay and biscuity pale malts. There is a light sweetness to the flavor but overall it’s fairly dry and with minimal bitterness, which is great for this ABV - I hate when brewers attempt a low-ABV beer, ramp down the sweetness and keep the bitterness ramped up. It’s a great recipe for an unbalanced. beer. This little thing is light in body with average, massaging carbonation. It finishes crisp and dry with hints of flinty minerals, stone fruits, lightly dried out grapefruit, some rindy bitterness, nips of grass. While this batch of the series doesn’t quite equal the success of the previous batch - which I thought was world class - it certainly deserves a seat at the table. It’s nicely balanced with a quenching aftertaste that leaves you needing another sip.

500ml bottle from Ales by Mail

Pours clear yellowish golden with a smooth white head. Aroma of grassy hops, fruits, citrus and floral notes. Taste is smooth, hoppy and juicy with grassy hoppienss, fruits, citrus and floral notes. Finish is juicy hoppy and slightly bitter with some grassy and citrusy notes. Okay, quite smooth and tasty low abv hop juice.

Bottle at home from chesham brewery shop. Chinook & amarillo hops on the bottle. Aroma is big lemon rind, grapefruit and tropical fruits. some mineral is the nose as well. Clear golden yellow coloured pour with a lasting sticky white head. Flavour is lemon pith, light clean base malt with a touch of honey malt. Lingering aggressive lemon citrus hop. Balance is off, bitterness is too much, which stops it from being sessionable. Palate is crisp minerall, plenty of carbonation.

Bottle from Vino Wines. Hazy golden body with a huge domed white head. Lively carbonation. Great lacing. Aroma of pineapple, mango and Wine Gums. Juicy flavour of grapefruit, mandarin, lime and a hint of minerals and crushed aspirin. Thin to medium body with an oily texture. Soft carbonation. Huge hoppy flavour - this is up there with Fyne Ales’ Jarl as my favourite sub 4.0% ABV beer.
