It pours a yellow gold with about an inch of foam. It shrinks quickly to a fine broken layer and there's not much lacing.

The smell has a good hoppy nose to it along with some grain and caramel malt sweetness.

The taste has a good grainy taste to it along with slight caramel and a good grassy hop flavour. This is pretty tasty and most of the all malt lagers I've tasted have been flavourful, some more than others and I think this one falls on the upper end of the spectrum for the style.

Mouthfeel is definitely medium here and I like it. Carbonation is on the lower end for the style. Again, I like it. It finishes slightly bitter, slightly grainy and what the heck. I like that.

Bottom line: This is a nice Lager; Tasty, good mouthfeel, and quite drinkable. I'm very happy that I got a chance to try it as it is a well brewed product, imho. I'd drink it again. No problem.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity and light citrusy. Toasted, bitter and slight herbal. Dry and bitter, herbal. Dry, grassy and bitter finish.

Bottle in hotel room orlando... Amber... Big foam head... Soft grassy... Sweet malt nose... Light soft toffee malt...

Single bottle from HyVee, Davenport. Hm, pours a golden color when my impression of an "East Coast" lager is shaped by the more amber colored Sams and Brooklyns and Yuengling. But okay. Sudsy head, lots of bubbles clinging to side, and a pronounced papery oxidation smell under the cap make this look like a bowling alley beer. I can catch a small amount of malt on the nose, nothing huge. But then, an agreeably malty taste with some peppery German hops right up front. Thought I caught a bit of extra saccharine, but it slipped away again. Finishes up nice and malty, just don’t know what this has that keeps it from being called a pilsener.

OK, but too sweet for me.

Aroma: The nose is mostly made up of floral, citrus, yeast, and grain notes
Appearance: Pours a clear golden-orange color with a foamy white head and heavy lace
Flavor: The taste is mid sweet up-front, transitioning into a later bitterness; aftertaste is quite off
Palate: The body is light, the mouthfeel is crisp and clean, and it ends with a lengthy, poor finish
Overall Impression: This one was a basic, rather unexciting, attempt at a lager. I thought the components were pretty decent overall, but that finish really damages my opinion of the beer. It just doesn't leave a good taste in your mouth, and, since it is your final impression, it doesn't leave a good feeling about the beer. Still, that is only one component of the beer, and so I will try not to let it completely affect my opinion/score.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours hazy gold with a foamy 2 finger white head. There’s a very light toffee note with a large amount of floral hop. Medium plus body with sharp, foamy carbonation. I’m getting a mild toffee flavor with a lot of floral hop. It’s lightly sweet and pretty bitter all at once. Finish seems grassy bitter. Drinks very well.
