Five hop lager….hmm they have might used five different hops. One cone of each probably. Decent plain lager. Nothing wrong. Nothing exciting [Can from Marks & Spencer at Birmingham New Street Train Station in Birmingham, England]

330ml can. Poured a hazy golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and plenty of bubbles. The aroma is caramel malt, toasty buttery, light floral hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a light, crisp, buttery, dry floral hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Classic Chardonnay in a beer!

Can on the train home, the Mighty 12, 09/07/18. Looks to be clear golden blonde with a decent off white cap. Nose is pale malts, straw, faint citric zest, light herb, hint of breads. Taste comprises light citric zest, grassy, airy malts, sweet tinges, peach, faint breads and pale malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness. Decent refreshing lager ... IPL light kind of an affair.
