375 bottle shared by Heather and Adam, much thanks! Real sour overall. 2016 vintage. Sour cherry, oak, funky yeast with a sharp pucker in the glands. Jeez, this got massively sour. Really not my thing.

Bottle at tasting. Aroma of sour cherry, vanilla, oak, horseblanket and tart. Taste has acidic sourness, vanilla, cherry, oak, horseblanket, sharp sourness and some ripe fruit. Nice, but really sour.

Shared bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours hazy pinkish red with little head. Aroma of cherries, almonds, marzipan, acetone, lemon, horse stable. Taste sour with quite some sweetness and an amazing salty-sour finish.

Bottle at Nacht van de Grote Dorst. Cloudy red with a small white head. Aroma of funk, wood, cherry and almond with a touch of acetone. Sour cherry flavour with funk, a lot of acid and a touch of acetone.

375ml bottle from Vanuxeem. Pours a deep, dark purple, small off-white pinkish head. Dark berry nose. Taste is slick on the palate with tangy balsamic cherry dominating, tart though no as sharp as some, its slick mouthfeel really setting it apart. Dazzling cherry fruit. Very good.
