Burnish gold hue with a persistent, rocky white head. Floral, spicy aroma redolent of lilacs, white pepper and Bartlett pears with undertones of blueberry honey and roses. A pleasant balance of crisp bitterness with a clean malt profile adorned spicy, herbal hop flavors lasting into a dry refreshing finish.

Aroma of toasted malt, bread, caramel, some candy, tea, fruity notes, herbal notes, mild hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Okay mild IPA, but not fruity and hoppy enough to be a winner. Disappointing.

Fles gedeeld door Roelzie. Het is een licht troebel amberkleurig bier met een medium schuim. Het heeft een moutige wat caramelachtige geur. De smaak is moutig en fruitig met tonen van bessen en rood fruit.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Dutchdrebus. Lightly hazy dark orange to amber color, medium sized off-white to beige head. Aroma is malts, some caramel and I also get some dark fruit like black currant somehow. Taste is also a bit weird. Some hops in there but again quite strongly some dark fruits like black currant and something else I can’t put my finger on. Solid bitterness, but again it’s a bit weird. Medium body and carbonation.

Bottle: Cloudy amber with a small, off-white head. Orange, floral scent. Taste is very floral....bitter orange-peel, orange malt......mild herbal spiciness and bittering. OK.

Copper colour. Aroma has a strong floral herbal sweetness. Flavour is also sweet with pear juice and candy. Hop bitterness in the finish but not enough to counteract the overall sweet floral flavours.

35cl Bottle from De Bierkoning, as Spring Hornin’. Clear copper colour, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, rye, toast, honey, hint of forest fruits. Flavour is sweet, malty, hint of toast/nuts, caramel/toffee, nice hop bite, resin, berries, caramel and herbal bitter finish that lingers quite a bit. Light to medium bodied, slick. I like it.

Draught @ Albion. Hazy dark orange with small off-white foamy head, faint malt aroma, low carbonation, slight hops bitterness, abrupt finish with bitter aftertaste. Quite bland, feels like a session IPA.
