Special for the Wetherspoons Real Ale Festival 2013.
This new ruby-coloured ale, brewed exclusively for this Wetherspoon real-ale festival, has a floral nose and solid, malty core, with plenty of malted rye notes, balanced by a pleasing, hoppy finish.

Cask at the Metropolitan Bar, JDW - London. Pours clearish, amber-gold with a creamy, off-white head. The nose holds grainy bread and dried fruits. Light-medium sweet flavor with dried and leathery fruits, bitter berry skins, leafy bitterness, subtle berry tang. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Decent balance to finish with further dried fruits, mild bitterness, soft tang. Pretty OK stuff.
