Cask at the Four Horse Shoes, Burrowhill, 08/09/13. Chestnut brown with a moderately sized off white head. Nose is brown bread, toffee, dark malts, nutty aroma. Taste comprises toffee, bready malts, brown bread, dark fruits, light sugar, earthy notes. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, subtle bitterness in the finish. Ok bitter.
