Proper Job is an authentic IPA brewed with Cornish spring water and malt made from a blend of malts including Cornish grown Maris Otter barley. Hops used are Cascade, Chinook and Willamette. A powerfully hopped golden bitter that explodes with citrus grapefruit flavours.

Thin off white head left s collar on a light straw coloured body. Minimal aroma of pine & hops. Medium bodied, soft on the palate, with slightly tingly back. Floral tasting with hops, syrup, honey & summer fruits. Nice one!

500ml bottle from Stonemanor, The British Store near Brussels. F: thin, white, not long lasting. C: gold, clear. A: orange, caramel, toasted onion, chamomile, floral T: malty backbone, caramel, orange, floral, herbal, bit spicy, grapefruits, bit bready, medium body and carbonation, nice balanced IPA in English coat, enjoyable for me.

0.5 l bottle from local 'REWE', best before May 2019. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, fruity-floral and slightly grassy aroma of orange jam, some citrus peel, a touch of honey and traces of pine. Just slightly sweet, moderately bitter, herbal-grassy, fruity-floral taste of marmelade, honey, some pine and a touch of tea, followed by a short, gently bitter, quite dry, fairly grassy and a little herbal-resiny finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Very crisp and dry IPA, comparably highly carbonated for an English Ale.

Flaska från SB. Smak och doft av humle malt, karamell, aprikos, bröd, honung med örtiga toner och apelsin. Fin fruktighet och sötma, rund och len, bra balans och beska.

Danke an minutemat. Bitter hopfiger Beginn, frisch, deutliche Herbe. Die Bitterkeit bleibt prägend, grasig, frische Aromen von Zitrusfrüchten, wenig helles Holz. Heu, langer bitterer Nachgeschmack. Gut. 10/12/12/13/11/12

Schöne Perlung, kräftiges Gold. In der Nase schön fruchtig, Apfelcider, Zitrus. Im Trunk getreidig, malzig, dann leicht fruchtig. Zum Abgang hin immer bitterer. Okay.

50cl bottle, BB 06/2019 @ Niamey craft beer tasting, merci Tudor. Dorée, col blanc. Arôme offre un bouquet classique anglais sur les effluves marquées de Golding, le Cascade reste plu en retrait, retrouve un malté anglais versant sur le léger pâle. Palais est malté, pâle, marris virant sur un effet pils, le tout est sec en fin de bouche. Le profil est un peu herbacé. Une IPA anglaise classique laissant plus un caractère de base de English Ale voire de bitter.
