On tap at Burnside, pours an opaque orange with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out citrus and orangey fruits, resin and caramel malts. Flavour is extremely well-balanced, with equal parts resinous hops and caramel malts. Beautiful flavours and balance here. Excellent IPA.

Bottle shared during the satellite Travlr 10K tasting at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Thanks to Lyoli for picking this up in Oregon! Pours clear gold with a frothy white head. The aroma has orange, pale bread and spicy pine. Medium sweet flavor with light pithy grapefruit and ripening melon. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Bitter citrus rind finish with soft peppery notes, tangerine rind. Pretty nifty.

Bottle, shared at the satellite 10K tasting CBC Clerko thanks to LKS, 19/08/14. Lightly hazed golden amber with a moderately appointed head of off white bubbles that stays for the show. Nose carries an earthy hop presence, light spice, bitter orange, straw, pale malt, light vegetal trace. Taste comprises bitter citric rinds, straw, hint of pine, lemon peel, earthy hops. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Middle of the road IPA.

Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours hazy golden with a decent white head. The nose is toasty, orange, tangerine, apricot, light pepper and orange muffin. The taste is bitter, citric, orange peel, grapefruit, peppery, doughy, toasty, cracker and brioche with a dry, citric finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Ok, a touch peppery.

22oz bomber courtesy of Cameron. Unfiltered orange-tan body. Foamy, glass lacing white head. Burnt caramel, oily hempy dankness. Comes off quite resinous and oily, pretty big and full bodied. I sort of associate this taste with something being burnt in the boiler, maybe the mash. A solid offering overall though, with copious amounts of hop character, and a big chewy malt body. Needs to be dialed in a little too achieve RB accolades. Classic West Coast IPA, pleasantly different than what I’m used to out here in Wisconsin.
