Bottle, 0.25l. Pours slightly cloudy ruby with small creamy pinkish head, good lacing and sparkling apperance. Aroma of raspberry, strawberry and caramel malt. Taste starts with sweet and sour raspberry with mild malty and yeasty backbone and very mild bitter finish. Medium body, syrupy texture and medium natural carbonation in palate. Bardzo smaczne malinowe piwo w stylu lambick. Mort Subite to legendarna restauracja a to piwo o malej pojemnosci jest przecudnie owocowe. W nozdrzach aż siedzą całe maliny. Pestkowy smak i slodko cierpki zarazem. Piana trwala i lekko rózowawa. Piwo takze w kolorze rozowo- czerwonym. Wspaniale na deser.

Head: pink, medium, frothy, avg. retention. Colour: rose, clear.
Aroma: raspberry, sharp yeast, raspberry seed bitterness. Taste: very sweet, raspberry syrup, slight acidity, slight bitterness, a bit astringent (elderberry?). It’s so sweet can hardly be considered a beer, but still has enough interesting in the bouquet, that deserves a higher rating.

I thought that I had already had this one… Pours a dark raspberry, light ruby with a collapsing off-white head // very quickly gone. Smell is huge raspberry jam, quite lovely actually,… like opening a pot of no-brand raspberry jam from the supermarket. Taste is raspberry jam, strawberry jam, grenadine, syrup, additives, white sugar, no over, dominating flavours of artificial sweeteners :) except a small touch in the back. This tastes like lollipops :) Jammy, syrup, light grains body. This is like drinking a glass of raspberry jam, I like it. Although I am a bit sad that the label says this is “brewed with century old spontaneously fermented lambic slowly aged on oaken barrels.” Because as far as I know this is not aged on oaken barrels, complete lie & the taste of this is so, so, so extremely far removed from lambic and because of the popularity of beers like this forms a wrong idea of what lambic’s are with the public. I used to think that lambic were this nonsense… One can also debate whether or not what they make & use in this can be classified as lambic. Bring on the diabetes. Still the back of the label makes me a bit sad… (25 cl. bottle @ home. Procured from a Carrefour in Brussels. No BBF)
