Moa Blanc Evolution is a Belgian style Witbier, with a small amount of coriander added during its extended maturation period giving it a unique spiciness. Rich and mouth-filling, it really is a true wheat lover’s beer.

Tasting Notes

Moa Blanc Evolution has a slight fruity aroma and a crisp, refreshing finish. Stone fruit and hazelnut flavours compliment the
distinctive dominant spicy and phenolic characters. With a subtle hop aroma and bitterness, Moa Blanc Evolution is well paired with lightly aged cheeses, smoked and savoury meals, or on its own for a satisfying pint. Moa Blanc Evolution is best served at approximately 4˚C in a pilsner glass.

Shared 12.7 oz. bottle. Hazy golden color with a short-lived small white head. Aroma of sweet malt and lemon. Taste is sweet malt, grain, spice, white pepper, lemon. Has a tangy, citric finish. The bottle may have been past its prime. Okay.

375 ml corked and crowned bottle. Pours a pale yellow gold color with a million tiny bubbles building to a massive rocky white head that dissipates somewhat slowly. Yeasty wheat malt aroma with notes of chalk, lemon peel and coriander. Tart citrus wheat flavor reminiscent of dry white wine. Spicy malt mid taste has notes of white pepper and coriander. Finishes dry and tart with notes of grassy hops.

The cork pops up right quick and it pours heavily carbonated, lively, with lots of head that disappears quite quickly. The aroma is a lot of citrus with a hint of wheat. Flavour is murky wheatiness. Mouthfeel is uncomfortable due to the heavy carbonation. Not particularily good.

Bottle - heat, yeast and a bit of citrus. Clear bubbly gold with a decent white head. Light citrus and a bit of hay. Very underwhelming considering the packaging and description. So light it is almost not there.

Refrigerated dark green 358 ml bottle corked and caged poured into a weizen glass. Pours slightly hazy bright golden with medium bright white head fluffy head, and big fluffy white lacing. Medium body, hight carbonation, and estery aroma with a hint of skunk. Taste is estery citrus, some coriander, and some skunk. Please put this in a brown bottle. Great palate, but falls short in everything else.
