Fresh, hoppy, malty, sweet taste. Smooth low co2 mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Herbal, hoppy, malty, sweet aftertaste. Bottle at home ... copper ... thin white head ... soft sweet blackcurrant ant soft fruity toffee malt ... nice soft fruits ... i like this ... this is what id expect from a bitter. Id love to think its served on cask at the brewery ... but i like the bottle and its a damn site better tan quite a few brittish bottled bitters

deep mahogany color. Full bodied, a bit too malty and rich. Not so balanced or interesting.

(on tap) Hazy copper with slight white head. Aroma was pretty faint; mostly malty. Medium bodied with nice carbonation. A straight forward and well balanced beer. Pleasant sweet malty start and nice bitterness in finish. Overall a nice beer.
