Bottle bought at Alko Arkadia, Helsinki in 2010. Black with a small tan head. Coffee, some wood, chocolate and notes of whiskey. Smooth and still a pleasant one.

Bottle from Tbone, thanks! Black and opague. Yoghurt, malt and licorice in the aroma. Full boided, sweet and sligtly alcoholic. Roasted malt, ash, licorice, salt, earthy citric hops and some fresh cheese in the flavor. Almost tart. Very hard to notice the barrel ageing. Well hopped. Good!

Tasting at Matt's, courtesy of Timo, vintage 2010, 9 years old
Smell of petrol, Parmigiano Reggiano, leather, armpit, dark malts, moderately oxidized. Good body; dark malts flavour, dark chocolate, salty, petrol, moderate oxidization, and funny candy touch.
Definitively too old, but funny beer to drink now, interesting.

Dark brown. Quite oxidized soy sauce notes on the nose, mushroom. Soft body, a bit light, but has an interesting soy sauce/mushroom accent. Fun -lots of age, but it's got some interesting elements. A lot of those oxidized notes are quite fun.

500mL bottle (thanks to TimoA for this!), pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is quite oxidized, with no hops left, some toasted malt, a little soy, and cola. Flavour is loaded with soy sauce, a touch of cola, and a bunch of oxidation. For a 9-year-old beer, it's not too bad, but the soy sauce and oxidation isn't exactly optimal. Okay.

Vintage - Lots of roast and some molasses with nice barrels. Jet brown with a small light brown head. Woody, dark roast and some cocoa. It bad for the age.

[Thanks to oh6gdx]. 50cl bottle. Black colour with minimal tan head that quickly dissapears. Aroma is toasted malts, red fruits, black berries are present, ripe fruit, slightly smoky, wood notes and light bourbon hints. Flavor is similar as aroma, is dominated by toasted or burnt malts. Also noticeable is the bourbon notes, alcoholic in spite of it has ’only’ 8%ABV. The aftertaste is malty, fruity, wood and bourbon notes with a very good duration.. Carbonation is low. Body is high. Texture is oily and dense on palate.

50 cl bottle @ home. Bottled 08.05.2010, BBE 08.05.2020
Aroma has sweetish bourbon notes, some roastiness and woody notes. Flavour is quite strong on woody notes with bourbon, vanilla and licorice. A sting of alcohol and whiskey in the finish, which feels a bit harsh. Too strong on whiskey, which does not completely fit to the flavour bouquet.

Completely different than the original SIPERIA, which I find better. Despite of all that, this is a very enjoyable beer. And perhaps the best ’milestone’ beer I’ve had. Cheers, Hannu!

Draught @ Pikkulintu
Ok, perhaps the last change to have this from tap – still got one bottle at home though. Aroma is rather nice with bourbon tones, sweet vanilla, some wood, licorice and hints of coffee. If aroma can be sticky – this is. At least it is syrupy. Flavour is rather sweet and bourbon really stands up. Also some herbal tones, licorice, vanilla and licorice. Aroma was rather promising, but flavour is just too sweet and too strong on bourbon. I hoped that this would have settled during these years. Feels sticky even after the first sip. Still I find the bottle version better.

Draught at Pikkulintu, 0.4l. Color black, some glimpses of red. Aroma bourbon and vanilla. Flavor with chocolate and vanilla, too much alcohol. In my opinion, worse than casual Plevna Siperia.
