Hän oli Ruotsin kuninkaallisen tiedeakatemian perustajajäseniä ja sai ensimmäisen paikan Ruotsin akatemiassa, joka nykyään päättää Nobel-palkintojen saajat. Kreivin kirjallinen kyvykkyys oli aikanaan kovin tunnettua ja arvostettua.

Draught at the brewpub. Almost clear, deep gold colored. AROMA- malty, touch of honey, spicy and floral hops. FLAVOR- neutral, moderately bitter, dry finish, malt, quite strong noble hops. Medium bodied. Good.

Draft at the source. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Pils malt, grass, floral notes.

Draft at the brewery. Lightly cloudy gold, huge lasting head. Neutral spicy aroma. Clean complex earthy, herbal hop flavor dominates with a hint of grains in the background. Almost IPA bitterness.

Bottle from Tbone, thanks! Pale blonde, hazy. Citris, soft grassy aroma. Grassy, citric flavor, slightly yeasty. Well succeeded attempt to brew a Czech type pilsener

Draught at the source: pours clear light gold with a whitish head. Aroma is light grass, with thin maltiness. Taste is a bit grainy, sort of bitter. Pretty standard fare.

Suomenlinna jatkaa laatuoluiden linjalla Seth Lagerin jälkeen myös Pilsillä. Kyseessä kirkas, kullankeltainen olut paksulla valkoisella vaahdolla, joka jättää hieman pitsiä. Tuoksu maltainen ja voinen, mutta aavistuksen liian köykäinen. Maku sen sijaan on mainio. Voinen makeus on vahvasti esillä ja yllättäen toimii kokonaisuudessa loistavasti humalan tuoman katkeruuden vastatessa jälkimausta. Todella toimiva pils!

(Bottle, Oak Barrel, Helsinki Airport, 26 May 2015) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fresh nose with notes of bread, grass, hay and grainy malt. Malty taste with bread, hay, grass, a touch of peaches, some vanilla and a balanced grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Fresh and tasty pilsener. Quite enjoyable.
