Huvila E.S.B. – is a dark brown strong bitter, which is robustly hopped with Goldings hops. The aroma is fruity and warming, the taste is full and complex, with a long, hoppy and bitter after taste. A true E.S.B. with a lot of individual style. It is sold to retail clients in Finland through Alko, the Finnish monopoly retail distributor of beers with more than 4.7% Alc. It is also available on tap and in bottles in bars and restaurants across Finland. Since 2011, Huvila E.S.B. is also available in shops in Estonia through Drink Baar.

Bottle, many thanks to rosenbergh. Hazy dark amber color with medium white head. Fruity hops in aroma with honey, spices, yeast, lemon. Fruity taste with citrus hops, grapefruit zest. Long hoppy bitter finish. Tasty.

Bottle from Salling, Aarhus. Clear amber with a lasting off-white head. Aromais sweet, malty, caramel and moderate hoppy - fruity. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 290313

Draught at Oluthuone Leskinen, Oulu. Colour is reddish brown with small white head. Aromas and flavours are hops, caramel, malts and bitterness. Quite nice.

Bottle, 5.2%. Clear dark amber/brown with medium off-white head. Aroma is mat, caramel, fruit, hop and a little dusty. Flavour is malt, caramel, medium sweet, hop, little bitter and a little toffee.

50cl bottle at Koht, Tallinn. Pours slightly hazy amber with an off-white head. Hoppy aroma with pine, fruits, malt and hints of citrus. Lightly sweet and malty with a nice and bitter finish. Nice and refreshing ESB! (2012-11-17)

Aroma has some pine needles, hops and hints of caramel. Flavour is hoppy with pine needles, some resin, hops and toffee. Decent ESB.

Aroma is somewhat fruity and hoppy with resin, biscuits, nuts and hints of bready malt. Flavour has toffee, some fruity hops, hay, resin, hints of caramel, nuts and nettles. Quite the same as I remembered.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.
