Cask at the Victoria Inn, Rugby, 30/10/13. Mid black with a good sized light tan head, good lacing ensues. Nose is light roast, earthy cocoa powder, hoppy backnotes. Taste comprises dark berry fruit, light roast, hint of pine, mineral bite, hopy backnotes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light roast and a hoppy resonance in the conclusion. Solid hopped up cask stout affair.

cask at cloisters.... deep red black ... thin tan head ... soft mellow roast ... light roast ....soapy roast ... odd pine .. ok ... slightly medicinally ... and a bit light

Cask, handpump at The Hunters, Kilburn, Derbyshire, 05.11.10 Pours black with a light beige head. This is a nice fruity stout with plenty of cocoa powder and the light creamy chocolate. The finish is quite dry, however its more notable for being quite rich and smooth. Like this. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6
