Cask @ The Petersfield, Cambridge. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are grass, hops, fruits, flowers and malt. Light bitter finish.

Cask @ The Petersfield, Cambridge. Clear amber with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and light fruity. Flavor is medium sweet. Sweet finish. 151018

28/9/2018. Cask at the St Albans Beer & Cider Festival 2018. Pours pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of light citrus, hops, caramel, flowers and grass. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, slight watery texture, soft carbonation.

Cask gravity at the St Albans BEER festival 2017. A mostly clear copper coloured pour with a loose beige head.. Aroma is nutty malts, light raisin, brown sugars. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, malts, nutty, dried fruits, fruit and nut,. Palatr is semi sweet, decent cask condition.. Not bad.

On tap at the brewery. Smooth and light. Slightly smooth malty body, refreshing with nice malt and ale characteristics. Round and malty with a moderate bitterness. nice.

Polypin at the Chiltern Countryside and Food Festival. Amber with a middling white head. Sweet and malty with some fruitiness- maybe orange. Not bad by Tring’s standards.

Cask @ Ring O Bells, Compton Martin for Warners / Parlophone Christmas bash. Average but pleasant little number with slight bitter finish and mild fruity moments but not enough to get me ordering another.

Cask at The Watford Beer Festival 2013. Poured a clear amber with a rocky white head. Aroma of berries, orange peal and caramel. Grassy hop flavours with peach and biscuity malt. Finish was bread, hop resin and dried fruit. Very good, for the style.

On the train from Hereford to Inverness, 2 litre PET bottle acquired from the brewery the previous evening, 18/10/13. 4% ABV. Clear golden amber with a moderately sized off white head that collapses to a pond and edgeing. Nose is malt forward, caramel, biscuit, sugars, light fruit notes. Taste comprises caramel malt, biscuit, fruity tang. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, smooth on the palate, bitter notes in the finish with a subtle fruit tang. Ok malt lead bitter.
