Cask @ Ring O Bells, Compton Martin for Warners / Parlophone Christmas bash. Average but pleasant little number with slight bitter finish and mild fruity moments but not enough to get me ordering another.

Cask at The Watford Beer Festival 2013. Poured a clear amber with a rocky white head. Aroma of berries, orange peal and caramel. Grassy hop flavours with peach and biscuity malt. Finish was bread, hop resin and dried fruit. Very good, for the style.

On the train from Hereford to Inverness, 2 litre PET bottle acquired from the brewery the previous evening, 18/10/13. 4% ABV. Clear golden amber with a moderately sized off white head that collapses to a pond and edgeing. Nose is malt forward, caramel, biscuit, sugars, light fruit notes. Taste comprises caramel malt, biscuit, fruity tang. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, smooth on the palate, bitter notes in the finish with a subtle fruit tang. Ok malt lead bitter.
