Last Snow Coconut & Coffee Porter is an ode to that special time in Florida where the needle dips just south of 75 - even for the briefest of moments. This rich, creamy porter is layered with coconut and freshly-roasted coffee for a taste that recalls a winter wonderland - even if, in our state, that's just a state of mind.

Pushes my limits towards sweetness in a beer, but never passes them, instead offering up a silky, indulgent white chocolate-coconut-coffee beer that still remains moderately dry and porter-ish. White chocolate and coconut are apparent from the get-go and pick up steam as they roll across the palate. Undercurrents of espresso and dark fruits temper the candy leanings, while the back end dries out with a bitter mocha finish. Nose seems lacking, offering up notes of cardboard and candy, more like the box your sweetheart's chocolates came in. Pours a nice black with brown edges and a beige head that gives of moderate lace. Medium body and perky texture helps keep the pint from growing cloy. Tasty.

Tasting at Matt's
Black color. Huge roasted coconut aroma, chocolate, tobacco; lovely. Soft mouthfeel, chocolate flavor explosion, roasted coconut. This is just great.

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Nose is loaded with a shitload of coconut upfront, followed by a hint of coconut and white chocolate. Flavour is like a baked dessert, with heaps of coconut upfront, followed by white chocolate and a hint of coffee. So coconut-y. Lovely.

Bottle at temp apt for Thursday night football bought for hypes sake. Fine dark pour. Nose dark chocolate and coconut. Tastes of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, coconut but not in sickening way as I often find coconut can be, some booze. Nice palate. But still the coconut proved a bit much for me probably prefer just the straight base porter if that available.

Coconut, coffee and white chocolate porter from this renowned Florida brewery, tasted at the B.U.M.B.A. event in Antwerp. Thick and moussy, pale greyish beige head, very dark mahogany-ruddy brown robe bordering on black, but still translucent. Aroma of caramel sauce, coconut flesh, almond shavings, hazelnut oil, canned corn, 'haemoglobin' iron, cold coffee, cooked red cabbage with brown sugar, amaretto. Sweet onset, figs and stewed plums, almond-like flavour which I presume has to represent the white chocolate factor without actually tasting like it, blackberry sourish and thin umami accents; creamy, slick mouthfeel, peanut- and butterscotch-like thick maltiness, sweet and nutty with this blackberry-coloured sourishness continuing; iron-like edges too but not unnaturally so. Lots of coconut and considerably less, but well-dosed coffee flavour the finish along with lingering malt bittersweetness, spicy hop bitterness and some warming alcohol - more so than expected from a beer of not even 7% ABV, actually. Technically not entirely perfect but nonetheless a fascinating, very tasty and classy porter.

Deleted the last check-in of this, was missing a rating & beerfest, but it was still accurate, shit load of chocolate + tons of coconut nose
