Last Snow Coconut & Coffee Porter is an ode to that special time in Florida where the needle dips just south of 75 - even for the briefest of moments. This rich, creamy porter is layered with coconut and freshly-roasted coffee for a taste that recalls a winter wonderland - even if, in our state, that's just a state of mind.

22 oz. Bottle provided by Chalumeaux, thanks for sharing you 900th rating! Aroma is loads and loads of coconut. Liquid coconut candy bar.
The coffee element is nice but the coconut is the dominant flavor. It does shows some light cake batter in the body. Coconut is lingering well after the sip. Body is big for a porter. Yeah, it lives up to the hype. Awesome Porter.

Boise Imperial Stout Tasting... Someone brought a porter, sure glad they did. Deep brown in color with a bit of brown head. Super rich and silky aroma of chocolate and coconut, a little vanilla. Tastes decadently sweet, very rich. Like liquid almond joy. Big time winner here.

The beer is dark brown. It’s translucent fairly far in from the edges but quite dark. The head is medium sized and khaki in color. A bit fizzy. The aroma is huge and sweet and excellent. It’s intensely inviting with a big coconut, cocoa and chocolate mix. There’s a big maple syrup note with some caramel and toffee. It smells like a wonderful fudgey dessert of some sort. Taste doesn’t quite live up to that. There’s some cola flavor and acidity. The chocolate and caramel flavors try to hold it all up but there’s not quite enough push for it. Mouthfeel is medium and fairly creamy. Lighter than you might expect with that much sweetness in the nose. It does wear out its welcome somewhat over the course of a bottle, but it’s a very tasty beer and I can understand the love for it.

Thank you Mathieu87 & PriorL! 650 ml. bottle sampled @ “Mathieu’s house cooling party”. Dark brown black with little mocha. Smell, I have had coconut beers before that promised to smell like liquid Bounty, this might be the first one to nail that 100 %. This just smells like massive in your face liquid Bounty, chocolate, coffee, cacao, vanilla,… Ridiculous. Taste is massive Bounty & even more sweet coconut, sugar, cold coffee, chocolate syrup, brownie, chocolate,… Ridiculous coconut, adjunct heavy to the max. Glorious. Lacks some body for a bit to fully complete it but I absolutely adore it as it is now. Glorious.

Bottle thanks to Sean. Pours a dark mahogany color with a small white head. A big nose of coconut and chocolates. Very sweet, sort of artificial coconut candy, very mellow. Big roasted coffee. Serious sweetness here! I think this amount of coconut needs a bigger base, 10%+. But is very good. Merry Christmas.

Bottle @ Abijen’s Christmas non-tick tasting. Aroma of strong cocos and some cacao, delicious, I could sniff it for hours. Rich taste of cocos, creamy milk, cacao, coffee, nuts and a little red fruit. Amazing.

Bottle @ Abijen’s Christmas non-tick tasting, small sample. Dark color, medium frothy head. Aroma of coconut, bounty bar, some dark roast, bit cookie, bit vanilla. Bit roast bitterness in taste, some sweet coconut, a tad watery in mouthfeel. Absolutely loved the aroma.

22oz bottle shared by Pinsky. Dark brown pour with a small light brown head. Coconut, chocolate, coffee, and vanilla aroma. Lots of coconut on the aroma, but in the flavor it gets much more towards sweetened coffee, and the coconut fades back. Smooth feel. Just a hint cloying from the heavy sweetness. Very nice overall.
