This rich, creamy porter is layered with coconut and freshly-roasted coffee for a taste that recalls a winter wonderland - even if, in our state, that's just a state of mind.

Draft - Coconut, chocolate and some coffee. Jet black with a rich brown head. Coconut, chocolate, coffee and a nice long sweet coconut finish. Just like an almond joy.

Pours pitch black with a smooth head. Aroma has massive amounts of vanilla, white chocolate, nutty and roasty malts, some cocoa and chocolate. Taste is smooth, white chocolatey and nutty with loads of vanilla sugar, some cocoa, spices and roastiness. Finish has loads of white chocolate, nutty roastiness, cocoa and vanilla. Quite a white chocolate and vanilla overdose.

Growler thanks to Matt. Pours black with small creamy beige head that diminishes quickly. The nose is just incredible on this with coconut and white chocolate. Thick mouthfeel with sweet coffee, nice chocolate, and very sweet finish. Wow, amazing stuff.

Growler with huge thanks to 50belair! I popped the top on this and my first words were - "smells like christmas!" Pours an opaque black with a small tan head and nice lacing. Aroma is coconut, vanilla, chocolate, liquer. Smells like (thanks for the reminder Aaron) a rum ball, which is probably why I thought it smelled like Christmas. Flavor is the same, roasty malts from the porter mixed with those wonderful rum ball flavors. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. What a great specialty beer!

Growler from the brewery. Pours dark brown color with tan head. Aromas of chocolate and coconut. Coconut and chocolate flavors with a hint of coffee. Medium body average carbonation. Very nice.

Draft at Churchkey for the Bluejacket/Funky Buddha/Cigar City event during SAVOR week. Poured a near-pitch black color with a tiny off-white head. Aroma is like a Mounds candy bar - fresh shaved coconut in there - with a nice chocolate notes. Roasted malt notes, nice coffee notes. This one is pretty darn good.

Served on draft at Brewvival. Pours dark brown with an average sized tan head. Decent head retention. Huge vanilla and coffee notes in the aroma with roasted malts and a hoppy finish. Sweet aroma overall. The taste is coffee, roasted malts, caramel, coconut, vanilla and a hoppy finish. Medium bodied. Nice beer.
