Handpull cask at the Victoia Inn, Durham. Light amber brown, clear with a small frothy white head. Big toffee aroma, with a sweet malty taste to match. A tiny bit of bittering hop on the finish. As basic a bitter you'll ever find but decent enough.

Cask shared with Finn at 37th Fleetwood Beer & Cider Festival. Near clear dark brown body. Bubbles on the surface. Clingy lacing. Toffee and leaves on the nose. Taste of leafy hops with moderate malty sweetness beneath. Bittersweet fruity ending. Just alright. (07.02.2019).

9/2/2019. Cask at the 37th Fleetwood Beer & Cider Festival. Pours clear bright amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of malt, hops, fruit, flowers and caramel. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily and watery texture, soft carbonation. Caramel finish with nice lasting bitterness.

Cask at the Victoria Inn, Durham on 23rd February 2018. Clear copper with off-white foam and full lacing. Nutty malts and leafy hops in aroma. Bitter hoppiness in-mouth, a hint of fruit and a bitter, satisfying finish. Zingy mouthfeel and light body. Perfect.
