Bottle. Aroma caramel, estery, fruity. Light clove. Hazy amber colour. Taste quite thin bodied, with paradoxically lots of caramel, mostly in the finish. Otherwise estery, fruity. Good, but nothing special.

On tap at gir, pours a clear amber with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out crisp bready malt and a slight smokiness. Flavour brings out a slightly smoky bready malt, with a dry crispness. Balanced and has some character with the smokiness. Nice one.

Bottle, as Ægir Onkel Lauritz. Pours amber, with a receding rocky head. Aroma is dark malts, with roasted bread and toffee, as well as some notes of kandi, cocoa and coffee. Light to medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is roasted malts with biscuits and bread, as well as notes of nuts, coffee and wood. Pretty boring.

Bottle from the Mini Pris in downtown, Alesund. Poured a murky medium amber with a short lived thin off-white head and some broken lace. The aroma is toffee caramel, sweet fruit. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter with a sweet malt, light yeast, light fruit palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
