Tap @Ægir brewpub Flåm, Norway [140609], during a cruise. Clear amber orange colour, medium off-white head, good retention. Aroma of bread, lemon, citrus, pine. Flavour medium bitter, malty, citrus notes. Medium body, medium carbonation, oily texture, dry medium and mild bitter finish. Not a full-blown American IPA but rather good anyway.

Bottle: Poured a hazy orangey color ale with a nice large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of nice floral citrus hops with some light floral undertones. Taste is also dominated by some nice floral notes with citrus hoppy notes and light sweet caramelized malt undertones. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Enjoyable but hops punch is a bit lacking which may be due to the trip this bottle had to make before getting to me.

Old rating rerated 07.02.2014, 0,5l bottle (11 days old) @ home:
Nice creamy longlasting head. Aroma is fresh grassy, newly cut lawn, light malts, hops, leafs, sap, hints of pine needles and tiny hints of sulfur far back. Taste is slightly harsh grassy, old fallen leafs, sap, bark, harsh grass, light malts, soap, hops, soil, pine needles. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Nice enough, but it used to so much better in the earlier days of Ægir. A brief look at my friends old rating makes me conclude the same.

Hazy light amber w a big head. Lots of hop nose - mostly forest and a bit if citrus. Fresh, zesty hop character, piney bitterness and plenty of rich Munich-ish malts.

Gyllen brun/orange farge. Lukter mye humle og godt med sødme. Markant humlesmak som sitter i lenge. Lettdrikkelig og en meget god IPA.

Bottle from trade with Cunningham, many thanks. Cloudy dark orange with medium off-white head. Strong citrus hoppy aroma. Solid malty base with caramel, followed by nice portion of hops with grapefruits, oranges, grapefruit zest, pines. Long hoppy finish. Tasty.

Går relativt greit til sushi, selv kjøleskapssushi.
