Very clear copper and bronze coloured body with a thick, very velvety tan head that stays afloat for a long time. Aroma of hay, grasses, funk, yeast, flowers and a light sweetness from caster sugar and a bit of caramel. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong dry and floral notes right with a grassy and dry bite with a touch of sugar, hay, pepper and a little yeast bite, all with some good malt and a smooth, but noticeable hop characteristic. Aftertaste shows some subdued dry grain, pepper, yeast, alcohol, wheat, flowers and a lot of hay. Overall, a nice and respectable, very light-bodied profile that shows more dryness, but also some yeast and flowers that are soft and subtle, but showing a good quality throughout. Good to sample, but seemingly losing flavour very quickly. I sampled this 32 ounce crowler, filled on draught at BeerTopia in Omaha, Nebraska on 10-October-2019 for US$8,00 sampled at my sisters house for Thanksgiving Day 2019, 28-November-2019 while enjoying food and family and some good beers. Location: 22 oz bottle from Central Market, 10/1/13

Aroma: The nose is yeasty and a little funky, pepper/spice, and some fruity notes as well
Appearance: It pours an unclear orange color with a thin white head and light lace
Flavor: The taste is lightly sweet, mostly yeasty and spicy, with some earthiness as well
Palate: The body is medium, it has a tingly feel, and a clean, dry finish on the mouth
Overall Impression: Thought this one was a fairly impressive example of the style. The spice and yeast dominate, but there's some other stuff going on here too. It lives up to the promises of the description.

Bottle shared with a friend. Pours a very hazy deep amber orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges.
