500ml bottle. Gluten Free. Amber colour, bubbly white foam head and aroma of malt, bready, caramel. Taste is sweet malty, caramel, toffee, bready notes, with earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, tangy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle from the brewery online shop. Appearance - golden amber with a proportionate off-white head. Nose - caramel and bready. Taste - mainly caramel again with just a hint of citrus and floral around the edges. Quite sticky though. Palate - light to medium bodied, creamy texture and a finish that could have more bitterness. Overall - ok.

Handpull cask at the Burnt Pig, Ilkeston. Light brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of fresh paper, woddy and earthy notes, some toffee, sarsaparilla. Sweet taste with a bit of earthy hop pushing back. However the finish is full of sweet toffee and the lightest astringency. Not exciting but well made.

26th Oct 2017. CAMRA Beer Festival in Shifnal, Shropshire. Gravity poured half pint (twice). This was my 'beer of the festival', hence the two halves. Clear and clean amber body, full white head that lasted on both pours. Nice easy drinking blend with the semi-sweet maltiness just about winning in the aroma and taste stakes against a light bitterness from the hop content.

Cask @ Brewfactory Bar, Bradford. Golden coloured with a small head. Has a sticky-sweet texture, with a bitterness amongst some sugary malts.

ChrisOs Easter Tasting. Gold amber beer with a short white head. Light dry palate. Hops are a little soapy and dusty. Semi dry finish. Caught a mild infection methinks.

Bottle at Chriso’s Easter tasting 2012. It pours golden yellow, with a thick white head. The nose is floral, dust, soap and citrus pith. The taste is tangy citrus, dust, pith, soap, lime and floral, with a dry, tangy finish. Medium body and low carbonation. Infected. Not great.

Golden-amber. The aroma is a bit sharp, with fruity hops. A little sharp on the palate as well, fruity and light overall.
