Maybe a bad batch, but had no aroma, no taste, and very watery. A dour effort.

On cask at Nerax North Pours a deep amber/reddish color with a thin white bubbly head. Smells of citrus and earthy hops with a fair bready biscuit malt backbone. Taste is bready malt with a bit of earthy and citrusy hop flavor. Medium to thin body with a light level of carbonation and slick almost watery mouthfeel. This was a decent brew I enjoyed it.

Cask at The Crosse Keys, JDW. Clear, golden pour with a faint head. Light, toasted malts on the nose with hints of pine. Flavor has a mild malt character, some honey, coupled with a mild bitterness of earth and grass. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Balanced but wimpy on the finish, more light malts and some pine, earth hops. Pretty ho-hum if you ask me.

Half, cask, at The Rake. Missing head, amber-red in body appearance. Smell of grassy hops mixed with malts. Earthy malts and a bite of citrus fruits in the flavour profile. Bitter endnotes. Average for the style (London, 16.07.2010).

16th July 2010. On tap at the Rake. Clear amber beer. Residual suddy head. Fresh and well balanced if a tad watery. Light tangy orange hop perfectly in tune with light even malt. Finishes semi dry. Refreshing if unexciting beer.

Cask at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury. Bucks, consumed 30-12-09 Pours amber with a medium white head. The aroma is a touch sicky but strangely I don’t find it unpleasant. Touch chewy in the mouth, some citrus and a good bitterness, nice length, reasonable malts show, pretty decent session beer. A6 A5 F7 P4 Ov13 3.5

Cask at the Duke of Wellington, London N1 on 16th September 2009. Copper with fizzy, mostly diminishing white head of foam. Main aromas sweet, spicy, peppery kick, some sweet maltiness, flavour balance sightly upset by a "rusty" note in the aftertaste; flattish texture.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol, 01/05/09. Deep gold in colour with a slight, white head. Aroma of oranges and caramel with a touch of grassy hop. Flavour started sweet, with some citrus fruit before a decent enough bitter finish Ok [3]. Re-rate at the Cornubia, Bristol 3/02/11. Sweetness was far more pronounced this time, with butter to the fore [2.6].

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. A hazy amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of malt as well as some butter and fruit. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of fruit, and some elderflowers, leading to a bitter finish.
