No other Norwegian beer has won more international prizes than our Porter. We always include it in our tastings and it has turned many a ”lager lover” on to craft beer. It has a silky smooth mouthfeel with hints of coffee and chocholate. Good with classic stews, but mindblowing with dark chocolate!

Bottle@Royal Gastropub, Oslo. Pours opaque black with large light brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, dark chocolate, espresso, burnt out campfire, vanilla and coconut. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter and light salty. Body is milky with soft carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with notes of malt, dark chocolate, cocoa, roasted coconut, salty liquorice and hints of vanilla.

Zwart bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is licht bitter en licht zoet met iets van bittere chocolade, mokka en een vleug whiskey. Fijne afdronk.

Deep brown to black. Opaque. Large beige frothy head. Aroma: dark malts, roasted barley, coffee, chocolate. New World hop. Medium plus body. Taste: dry enough, roasted, hoppy. Chocolate and coffee, again. Medium plus bitterness. Good old school American porter.
