Spontaneous fermentation beer produced using only pale-ale type malt.

Iris brings together two elements that were very present in our beers until the middle of the 20th century : the acidity produced by spontaneous fermentation and the bitterness resulting from the use of fresh hops followed by cold hopping.

Sour, tart, acidic, getting softer though. Citrus, florals, some oak and funk, very nice.

0,75l bottle at home. Bottled 23.01.2018 . Amber clear color, small white head. smells oak, funky, grassy, spices, vermouth. Very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes grassy, vermouth, peppery, oak, herbal, spices, tobacco. finishes lightly dry, medium bitter and lightly sour with notes of tobacco, spices and oak notes. Very nice one, rather on the bitter side

Bottle from Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Clear deep golden body with no head. No visible carbonation. No lacing. Aroma of lockets and white wine. Flavour of apricot and sharp lemon. Thin to medium body with a tart, sticky-mouth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Tart and lemony.
