33cl bottle. A clear golden beer with a white head. Aroma of strong grainy malt, pale malts, straw. Taste of sharp grainy malt, strong pale malts, straw, moderate bitterness.

Bottle from outside Olympic stadium Rome. Pale brown with a short head. Aroma of over boozy malt. Flavour is similar. Worst beer I had in Italy.

0.5l can as Ceres Dansk Dortmunder. Clear yellow body with a white head. Aroma and taste of bread, hay, sugar syrup and grains. Not so complex beer, but it's definitely great in the strong pale lager style as the alcohol is not harsh at all.

getrunken als Ceres Strong Ale EIn Bier, das man in Italien an jeder Ecke bekommt. Auch wenn ich es äußerst komisch finde, dass gerade in Italien dänisches Starkbier derartig bekannt und offenbar beliebt ist. Es ist ein Strong Ale, das weit entfernt an manchen industriellen Belgier erinnert. Es ist sehr süß und recht schwer. Dazu ein bisschen Fruchtigkeit und eine Prise Kandiszucker. Sonst ist es nicht besonders aromatisch. Kann man trinken, ist aber sehr flach - da kann man gleich ein normales süßes Dunkles nehmen...außer man mag es etwas stärker.

CERES STRONG ALE. Õlle on selline jook, et iga uus kord kui klaasi või pudeli suule tõstad, siis leiad midagi uut, sõltuvalt tuhandest-miljonist pisiasjast, mis hetke olukorda mõjutavad. Seega piirdun iga õlle juures selle tekstiga.

Bottle. Grainy aroma with a hint of apple. Grainy, alcoholic flavor with apple, cardboard and butterscotch. Walnut bitter finish. Didn’t like it.

From a bottle picked up by the wife in some airport. Gold with a frothy white head that fades out. Weird aroma—reminds me of a hot tub. As the beer sits it becomes more herbal. Taste is mildly sweet with a light alcohol burn at the back. Did not finish.
