Bottle. Aa Brugs Biere Blanche. A hazy pale golden beer with a white head. Grainy pale malts and a fine citrusy fruityness in the aroma. A little spiced touch too. The flavor is grainy and fruity in a nice blend, still rather boring. Medium body. Finishes like it starts. Not bad, but too boring. 100806

Imported from my RateBeer account as Brugs Tarwebier (by Brouwerijen Alken-Maes (Heineken)):
Aroma: 6/10, Appearance: 3/5, Taste: 7/10, Palate: 3/5, Overall: 13/20, MyTotalScore: 3.2/5
Pours a milky white to yellow beer. Very fine white creamy head. Smells a little like citrus, but almost no smell at all. A little carbon, probably due to the age (drank almost at exp. date). A bit of a flattened mouth feeling, sour to bitter aftertaste. Needs rerating with a fresh bottle. Aging does no good to this beer.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow in colour with a moderate, tight white head. Aroma of coriander, grain and orange peel with some zesty yeast. Flavour was slightly tart, with more green herbs, lemon and a dry finish. Good.

Draught, as Brugs - Blanche de Bruges. Small head that dissapears very quickly. Looks like a very murky lemonade, aroma of bubblegum and citrus and some spice, flavour of citrus and bubblegum, flavourfull long lasting sour aftertaste. Overall the beer feels a bit german in character. Simple but very fresh and excellent easy drinking.

French-made version. Very light yellowish-white color, little head. Lemony aroma with wheat. Tastes more like a lemonade or a radler than a wheat beer to me. Way too much lemon. Easy to drink, but more like a soda than a real beer. I would not recommend it.
