Unclear, some small floaters, golden colored, medium white head, good lasting. Aroma is brewing sugar, spices, Belgian yeast, spicy-peppery, bit lemon citric. Taste is medium- sweet malt, brewing sugar, spices-coriander, some fruity notes, very spicy and Belgian yeasty, hay-straw, low lemon, medium bitterness, dry finish. Medium bodied, average carbonation.

At a tasting, many thanks, stable bubbly head, hazy lemon yellow color, aroma of white fruit, herbal tea, overipe oranges and lots of brett earthiness over it, flavor of spice and melon with earth and roots and a nutty hint, light pleasant bitterness. Tasty and really really good.

Golden color with white head. Aroma is grainy, spicy, some fruits, maybe banana, maybe a bit apricot. Taste is similar, slightly grainy, again fruits. Quite dry mouthfeel, refreshing. Not bad.

2013 bottle shared by Cuso. Aroma intensely spicy perfumey. Hazy golden colour, moderately stable head. Taste is also quite perfumey, spicy, with a strong biscuity malty base but not overly sweet. Nicely balance, rich in flavour. Very good.

330 ml bottle from Etre Gourmet.
Golden-amber, hazy body, with floating sediments and a big, frothy, moderately lacing, white head.
Aroma is quite light, with citrus, sweet fruits, spices, yeast, some bread.
Tastes of lemongrass, citrus, sweet bread, Brett, dried fruits, some spices, some young cheese.
Medium, a bit creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes smooth, dry, a bit sour, a bit bitter, a bit spicy, yeasty, fruity and a bit sweet.

Very nice. Fresh, smooth and very well balanced, but I’m still missing the last bit of extraordinariness for such a highly rated beer. Overall a quaffable Belgian ale how I like, but not my favourite style example.
