Cask at Borough Arms, Crewe but have drunk this many times before. Pours a dark reddish-brown with a small off-white head and good lacing. Malts are prominent in the roma with some honey sweetness there too. In the mouth it is dark fruits that immediately grab the attention. Honey and malts come along later with a little chocolate and liquorice. Finish is quite sweet. A decent enough porter, but not quite as nice as I remembered it.

Half-pint, cask shared with Finn at North Western (JDW). Mahogany coloured body, clingy lacing from a patchy head. Chocolate malty nose, appealing. Honeyed malty flavours, impact of chocolate and nuts. Rounded roasted finish. Pleasing. (Liverpool 27.01.2020).

Delt med Rune. Ultradyprød. Lavt luftig skum med litt farge. Aroma av lakris & nøtter. Smaken mere lakris. Søt. Tørr, portvinsaktig avslutning.

Handpull cask at the Clarence, Bury. Dark brown and reasonably translucent. Small beige/khaki head. Aroma slightly reminiscent of honey, with a little bit of liquorice. Taste is sweet, with more liquorice and cough-drop honey flavour. Thin body with a somewhat watery mouthfeel. It isn't bad.
