Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at Maidenhead Beer Festival 27/7/2018. Golden in colour with a slight, white, head. Sweet and yeast malts, a touch of caramel, plenty of bittering hops in the finish. Fine.

Cask at The Lamb Inn, Little Milton, Oxfordshire. A golden coloured pour with a thin white head on top. Hoppy, fruity, malty aroma. Tastes similar, hoppy, malty, fruity, slight sweetness. Served in good condition, quite pleasant.

(Cask at Black Door, 20130625) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had fruitiness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, yeast, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. A bit boring English ale.

Cask at the Jolly Angler, Reading. Straw with a thin white head; the aroma reminds me of a grassy meadow; full bodied despite the pale appearance, with a chewy, slightly oily texture, and lots of sweet malts with a trace of honey; the finish is sweet and lightly bitter.
