A rich and generous porter, smooth and sweet side of coffee, aromatic coffee, other thing that you have in the personal restaurant, 30.03.20, at Epalinges.

Can from Systembolaget. This was really enjoyable. A very smooth strong porter with depth and drinkability. Quite rare.

Reviewed from notes.
Bottle to snifter.
Appearance: straight black in the pour and black in the glass, less than a finger's worth of off white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: milk chocolate, dark malts, subtle roasted coffee notes
Flavor: leads with the milk chocolate sweetness and seems to mostly stay that way; finishes milk chocolatey sweet
Texture: medium bodied, somewhere between sessionable and being a sipper; pretty smooth all around
Overall: a very dessert-like porter I'd be willing to come back to.

33cl bottle well past BBD (2022) always kept cold. Pours pitch black small fine brown head, fading. Smell kind of soapy. Flavor: chocolatey oats, earth, burnt wood, roasted grains, sugar, molasses. Quite dense, milky, oily. Taste sweet, sugary, some burnt bitterness to balance. Finish is milk chocolate. ABV is well hidden, some shine of it but not too much. Weird for me but i guess it's the style.

Bottle at Karavella. Pours jet black with beige head. Nose is coffee, earthy notes, sweet malts, sweet booze. Taste is coffee again, malty notes, chocolate, low alcohol presence. Closes with long lasting bittersweet finish, has smooth carbonation. Lighter in body than expected, but other than this it's pretty tasty.

Aroma of roasted malt, sourish coffee, cacao, milk chocolate. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a moderate roasty bitter finish. Good one, sweetish but very rich, lots of tasty milk chocolate and coffee notes.
