On cask at Cloisters. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - dominated by orange and hop resin herbiness. Almost hemp. Taste - earthy and grassy maybe spicy too. Something root vegetable. Also of course some citrus. Orange this time. Palate - medium bodied with a big tangy texture and a long dry but balanced finish. Overall - itโs a little gnarly but itโs certainly interesting and it grows as you take on its challenge.

Bottle from Sourced Market St Pancras and drunk at home. Hazy cloudy dirty brown amber. lasting beige head. Some toffee. Itโs not overly hoppy but has some hop and some ok toffee, malt, some hop sting on the finish. OK.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a hazy light amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is light yeast, citrus,light grassy hop. The flavour is light to medium bodied with a light watery hop bitter palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Pretty light all round!

Bottle shared thanks to jmgreenuk. Pours hazy dark golden with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, pine, resinous hops, light weeds. Flavour is light sweet and moderate to heavy bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Clear orange beer, creamy yellowish head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: fruity, floral, citrus, bit resinous. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sweet, malty start, fruity, bit metallic, some citrus. Aftertaste: little sour, malty touch, pretty bitter, lemony, lychee, some grapefruit. Nice, but not overwhelming.

Bottle @ joes. Hazy yellow with a medium sized white head. Smells slightly plastic, some hops, very slightly apricot, malts. Tastes slightly bitter, malts.. Not much going on. Thin body, medium carbo.

Cask ale, half at the House of Trembling Madness. Hazy apricot coloured body. Naked surface. Rings of lace down the glass. Grassy hops on the nose alongside a touch of earthy malts. Fresh juicy fruits to the flavour profile, orange and lemon, moderate malty sweetness beneath. Bittersweet ending. Medium bodied. Likable (York 11.07.2014).
