0.473 l can from 'Speciaalbierpakket.nl', canned in May 2020. Hazy, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, rather fruity, slightly grassy and a little resiny aroma of lemon peel, pineapple and some passion fruit. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, intensely fruity, quite juicy, slightly resiny and a bit grassy taste of lemon peel, passion fruit, pineapple and hints of spruce, followed by a short, moderately bitter, gently grassy and slightly resiny finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nicely intense Citra showcase DIPA, really good.

Can from Bine & Vine. Nothing on the can about double dry hopping. Pours mildly hazy gold with a creamy white head. Aroma of garlic and mango. Full, foamy body. Not too dry. Ok, it's not garlic, but something that made me think of garlic. Going with citrus, mango and passion fruit or pineapple. The hops are being absorbed into my mouth lining. The flavor is very strong; the ale is quite bitter. Yet there's a juicy character, and also a dank aspect. Amazing ale.

Citra-hopped ‘NEDIPA’ from this hyped brewery in Iowa, one I’ve been wanting to taste for a while. Thick and creamy but quickly thinning, egg-white head on a hazy apricot blonde beer with vague ochre-ish tinge. Bit dank and very juicy aroma of lemon flesh, orange zest, mango peel more than mango juice, unripe pineapple, toasted shallot, sweat, dough, withering dill, lime, sweet red onions, olive oil. Fruity onset, halfripe banana, mango peel again, some pineapple, sweetish but not too much so, softish carb, supple and soft, smooth body; white-bready and doughy core with still some thin honeyish sweetness but most of all, soaked in hoppy aromatics, offering retronasal aromas of citron, lime, tangerine and yellow kiwi with a dank edge of shallots sweating in hot olive oil or even toasted garlic, highlighted by a light glow of gin-like alcohol. Very stereotypical for the style, it ticks all the boxes of what constitutes a good NEDIPA, but I am not blown away either – I guess this one just embodies everything that typifies its style without adding anything to it. It’s a very good example of it, though, do not get me wrong on that, but I would probably not buy it again, at least not at the prices charged here.

Can. Slightly hazy amber beer with a cream head. tropical fruit and grapefruit aroma with light backing malt. Grapefruit and tropical fruit flavor with light summer fruit and light malt. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and tropical fruit linger with light summer fruit.

Tall can from Cave Beer Point. Hazy slightly creamy yellow pour with fine white head. Aroma is dank fizzy hops, slightly banana maybe from transit? Can is pretty fresh - 4/22/2020. Some booze. Taste is big bitter, apple and dank hops. Again seems a bit dulled maybe by transit. Too bad. Palate is light without much carbonation. Will have to try closer to the source one day.

Tasty citra bomb, loads of mandarin, grapefruit, lime zest, and mango, with a modest wet-grain malt undertone and a moderate pine-herbal bitterness in the fade. Alcohol does come through on the finish, giving a slight bite to the texture, but still a good pint.
